The eponymous Lady Bird Bar and Lounge take inspiration from the first lady’s dedication and interest in the arts and culture of Washington DC. Selected for their meaning and connection to place a curated collection of art, objects, and furnishings reflect Lady Bird’s love of the city.

Several design elements reference the official bird of Washington DC, the Wood Thrush, through subtle nods to birds’ wings and patterns found throughout. Local artist, Meg Biram incorporates birds in her mural artwork behind the bar area.
